This is your dream! So, why not have it just the way you want it? There are ‘5’ steps you must take to “supersize” your dream and make it your reality. I came across these steps, get paid for pictures of your body in a wonderful book written by Brian Tracy titled, “Change Your Thinking Change Your Life – How to Unlock Your Full Potential for Success & Achievement.” In this book, I discovered ‘5’ powerful and easy to use steps that will facilitate turning ordinary dreams – into Big Dreams!
Step 1 – Idealize
See What You Want – Get What You See
Idealizing is all about figuring out what you want? Can you imagine your dream clearly happening in the foreseeable future? Stephen Covey calls it, thinking from the end in mind. The key to idealizing is to trash all your limiting beliefs, fears and doubts! Then, imagine in every way possible, exactly what your dream would look like as it comes to fruition. Buy mdma
For example, in my safety and environmental dream, I can see myself surrounded by people who love setting and achieving worthy goals. My work environment is full of harmony, love, respect creativity and thrives on team work. Everyone is extremely focused, excited, disciplined and skilled in accomplishing a shared vision. Hazards and harm are constantly eliminated, no one ever gets hurt, our environment thrives and we all will be handsomely paid – financially, emotionally, physically, and spiritually.
Step 2 – Verbalize
Say What You Mean – Mean What You Say
Verbalizing is transforming your dream into words. Once you think it, go ahead and ink it. Your words are powerful; they can change the world. The primary goal focus of verbalizing a goal is to make it clear and understandable to you – for what you believe and see, you can achieve. One easy way, e-girlheaven to verbalize a dream or goal, is to turn it into an affirmation. My friend and mentor Jack Canfield provides us notable guidelines for creating effective affirmations:
- Start with the word I am.
- Use the present tense.
- State it in the positive.
- Keep it brief.
- Make it specific.
- Include an action word ending with -ing.
- Include at least one dynamic emotion or feeling word.
- Make affirmations for yourself, not others.
- Add – or something better.
An example of an affirmation would be: I am having a blast learning, growing and improving myself everyday – for I’m receiving fantastic results in all my efforts.
Step 3 – Visualize
Believe and act as if it were impossible to fail. ~Charles F. Kettering
People visualize things all the time. Successful people visualize what they want; unsuccessful people visualize what they don’t want. I learned the power of visualization by participating in sports. As a collegiate rower in the late 1970’s I was taught to use this technique in my training. Through the use of visualization our collegiate rowing program became the best in the South. Today visualization is very common place in all sports, aniioki with participants of all ages. If it can work for sports, I am convinced that it will work for business.
The key to visualization is to focus your mind forward; create a clear picture of your dream or future goals. Just think of it as if you are creating your own wonderful movie – with all the sounds, colors, imageries and excitement desired. You are the major star; director, editor and you choose your supporting cast. You get to create your dream movie from start to finish. Watch your movie over and over again in your mind until your dream becomes a reality.
Step 4 – Emotionalize
“When you set yourself on fire, people love to come and see you burn.”
Emotion is the key to making your dream come true. The more excited, positive, and enthusiastic you are for your goals and dream, the more likely your passion will become contagious. Passion is the fuel – that will drive your mind and body further than you could ever imagine.
When you combine a clear mental picture of your dream, with the same emotion that you would have – if the dream was already achieved – you’ll activate a higher power in your brain. Doing this prompts your brain to go into overdrive to provide you with creativity and ideas for making your dream come true.
Step 5 – Realize
“Every now and then go away, have a little relaxation, for when you come back to your work your judgment will be surer.”
Once you have combined the first four steps, it is time to realize your dream. There is a great Chinese Proverb that says it so well, “Tension is who you think you should be. Relaxation is who you are.” Everything takes time, so it is critical that you relax and let nature take its course. Realizing is all about relaxing, releasing, letting go, and receiving. Be confident that everything is working as planned and know that your dream will appear in its own time.
